Such a beautiful image to begin with -- makes it difficult, if not impossible, to improve. In fact, I didn't improve it, but only made it look a little like a painting.

I wanted to say, too, how impressed I am with everyone's enhancements... each one seems lovelier than the last. Patricia, Your smudge version really does look like porcelain. I rarely use the smudge tool, but I think I will start taking it more seriously. I love the redfields fractalius one, too... I am going to check that out. Seems like it would be a great tool.

Have had a little play with fractalious on people...but you know i am a nature girl at heart!!!

Thank you for your kind words about the photos and my smudge...I really love smudging and its the first thing i started with on my way to using Painter...i find it relaxing!!

Yes the team have all done beautiful and different works of art...
Glad you liked my pics...i feel i have improved a bit with my photography this year....practie,practice and more practice!!!

Enjoying all the nice flowers. I simplified and swapped channels to get the shades of lavender.

what I did is again something simulating Buzz
( yes, I try to simulate this effect again and again, but still I am not happy with results..)

I used Gimp on Linux
