snow /trees

I used this in another thread, and then realised it could be a good candidate for playing with
I know some of you are fed up with the white stuff but here we are still hoping for some next week ( not just being cold)

Thanks very much for the offer, but we are very picky over here, the snow has to be just the right sort, or the trains stop running and industry comes to a complete halt.

Nice find Palms

Cool image to play with Palms.

Thanks for linking. Been going back to a washed watercolor mood of late. Trying to play with adding textured canvas effects too. The actually conversion was easy enough (though I did some selective erase throughs and limited cleaning smudges). I used GIMP's Erode filter and then enhanced the Saturation. Also, Xero's Supersmooth filter was added of course (yes, I'm ready for the flames; lol).

Peter i had tried for the look you have used but couldn't get any where near yours the sky is ace
and don't forget everything comes to a stand still with just half a inch of the white stuff (honestly it does just the threat of snow and everyone panics, )
lkroll that has a dreamy feel to it, nice
Granny again forgive me if your fed up with the view but how lovely ! ! !

Re: snow /trees

Palms, I love the composition of this photo. Thanks for the play.

Done mostly with my Watercolor Tute 101. Added a green color overlay to bring up the green in the trees.
