| | | Re: Creative Interpretations - Houses in a Row Alan, a workflow would be wonderful. Did you use AHB, or PST? I'm just blown away by the application of colors. Some of your brush strokes appear to have bristle characteristics along with wet edges. I note in the roof and other areas you picked up no tile detail so you must have simplified the heck out of the original to get that look. You also managed to drag colors "outside the lines" in a very loose manor. I just love it! :-) |

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations - Houses in a Row I think the ones done with the wide washed out brush look pretty close to watercolor. Mine I changed to a line drawing, put brush strokes over the whole picture and than used a paint effect to blend it a little.

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations - Houses in a Row Very nice Kim! Sketchy water color. That looks sure seems to suit this photo.
Although I agree with everyone, Allen's is definitely the best.
Allen, if you read this, we'd all still love to see whatever workflow notes you have on yours. It's one of the best watercolors I've seen with Photoshop. |
