Frank, he was 130 plus pounds in Feb. 2006 - what does he weigh now? He's a big beauty. I once saw a basset puppy walk into the mouth of a St. Bernard (they lived together and were friends) - he went in, disappeared, and then came back out.

CJ, for the past year or so he has been between 160 and 165. I don't think he is going to grow much more.

Your caption is very funny because he DOES call when he wants to come in. He knocks on the storm door with his paw.

Let's put it this way: we painted the door 5 times in 3 years :-)

Thank you C.J. and Frank I might do another one soon as i want to try a smoother sort of smudge, but that might mean he looks less cuddly, will see how it turns out.
