Orchids with heart.

I first started out Resynthizing, but I had to do some clone brush work at the end (easy with GIMP; just select all and copy and then the brush is able to be used. I am liking 2.4 more and more).

Re: Orchids, anyone?

Lots of nice effects, really like the smooth silk like result. Mine is a collage of the three, applied halftone, smudged and turned up the color.

Thank you all for your interpretations. I think that will give my granddaughter incentive to keep taking photos and to try her own artifications.
I used a batik tutorial I found on the Innographx website to make this.

If you can get on this page there is a free plug in for adaptive equilization ( I have been having problems with it)
I like the plug in a lot, and tend to use it a lot on flowers, It picks all the little details out(there is a more detailed explanation but just try it and move them sliders around and you will get the gist ), and that is what i think you saw as texture,

Re: Orchids, anyone?

And now for the hot pink orchid. I used a variety of filters including buzz, lucisart, AAA filters, Harry's Filters.
