Re: How i can improve this logo?

Hi Samuel and welcome here
IMHO this is not a logo at all.
It can be seen as nice result of graphic exercise, but not as logo (even of a soap bubble factory not).
So don't worry but render some new vector logos

Re: How i can improve this logo?

Hi, sorry for not checking back sooner.....but, i am just blown away by all of yours responses...[thunk]

Firstly, i apologise, i used the term logo loosely, as it will be soley for our copmany intranet site, we wanted something that would encapsulate the three aims of our team. It isn't for printed media else YES i would have thought simpler. I apologise for not making this clearer, but i do take all of your replies on board for future reference.

Thanks Stephen, not only as the first to reply but giving some brilliant pointers. Alison again, i will take on baord your comments.

Barbara, i would love a vector package but work has only given me PS CS2 to work with. I am a Database Analyst by trade but am becoming jack of all trades, including animation and .Net programming.

...and thanks again all for your welcome.

You can do vectors in Photoshop. It isn't quite the same as a real vector-based program; but it works and works well for shapes.

Also Jacquelin Vanderwood used to have a great tutorial that explained in great detail how to create custom shapes from scanned coloring book line art. I didn't do a very extensive search to find this tutorial. But if the other links don't serve you well, you might try to find it.

I hope this helps.

Janet
