I am kind of on a BW binge today... Converted to Lab and used the L layer for the starting point. Then added layers from the black (via CMYK), red and blue channels and used "the best" of these.

I fear that the trade-in value of this fine vehicle is gonna be nil.

No, Steve, but I've bought a few. I hate to trade cars. I always go in with a good idea of what I want to pay and give the dealer ONE shot of making his BEST deal. If it's not even close (usually isn't) I'm outta there. Funny how when you start packing up your stuff to leave, they can "check with my manager" and come back with a better deal.

Swampy, that's just beautiful. :bigthmb:, both the original and your version.

Mine is AHB, hard-light blended onto a coloured and textured canvas.
