I may be addicted to the Impressionist plugin -- in a good way. It sure is fun to experiment with.

Danny- wow what a great photo find!
Everyone's versions have been fabulous and very RED

I went for a different look. I'm trying to perfect a technique I guess. And I do like this watercolor look. But I kind of feel this is missing something.
Is there not enough detail? Should the colors be brighter?
I am open to suggestions....

Jordan. That is a great state, but I do think it could use more detail in the center of the flower. Love the over all look and background, but we all know that a flower has stamens and stuff and this one doesn't.

By the way, I did this one during my lunch break, but didn't have time to upload and post (i.e., don't ask me detailed steps; used Photoshop 5.5's Glass filter and Plastic Wrap, Eye Candy III's Glass filter and a lot of other things).

By they, since I had to edit my post, I have to say that some very cool versions have been posted since and before lunch. Thanks for sharing your find Danny.

Thanks for the tip Swampy, I will go back and play some more. But for now I thought I'd try something completely different. Typical art history brush.
