| | | Creative Interpretations - Working Horses This one is for Steve since he lives in "horse country". But I guess the horses in his area are of the "playboy" type, jet set, racing etc. LOL |

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations - Working Horses The horse owners from around here would faint dead away if you took one of their animals onto a backwoods trail.
Now a nice slick race track is a different matter.
How about a shot of a Marsh Tacky? Folks on the forum might be interested in the history of this breed.

We sometimes refer to Art-History brushes as "riding wild horses".
Seems fitting.
AHB, mixture of chalk and oil types;
Lighting effects for stroke depth;
Blending for overall effect.

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations - Working Horses Here's my try with a little bit of AHB and endless filters and a lighting effect and then I got sidetracked with the frame and matting.

Steve, finding a true Marsh Tacky these days is next to impossible. There are a number of descendents, but they have been crossed with quarter horses and are bigger than the real thing. :-( |

Rô | Thanks Ro. I have an even more unkind bunch of words for AHB. I just can't make it work for me.
