| | | Creative Interpretations- Carousel OK, I've never done this before, so bear with me
I saw this on mourgefile.com and thought it would be fun to see everybody play with it.
So..I guess I can just link to the high res file on mourgefile? I hope that's ok.
Here's the link to the zipped file. http://storage1.morguefile.com/downl...display=188286
or else here's the link to the photo page http://www.morguefile.com/archive/?display=188286&
If I'm doing this wrong, please let me know
I can't wait to see what all you creative people come up with!!
here's a small version to see it

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations- Carousel Oh Swampy, I love yours! I've been playing with it and was just giving up frustrated and heading to bed. Thought I'd check to see if anyone had posted.
I love how you muted out the busy background with all the pink. It's perfect!

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations- Carousel OK, here's mine. Used an outline and painted on a vivid light layer.
Still not completely happy with it, but it's past my bedtime. |

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations- Carousel Thank you, Jordan! I used the Pattern Stamp Tool and painted a background with impressionist ON then did a Hue/Sat and really pumped up the Saturation on that layer. It just brought out all the pinks.
Hey, Gary, It's great seeing you painting along with the rest of us!
These are some wonderful renditions. |

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations- Carousel Baldy- LOL, you're right, another horse picture, I hadn't even thought about it
I love the texture in your's, did you use the emboss filter?
Lyle- wow, talk about colorful! yours was by far my kids favorite
Dron- I love love love this! makes me want to try the art history brush on this myself, but what do you mean by hands?
Gary- great tinted look!!
Cass- I don't know what you call that look/style, but I quite like it, nice rich colors
Here's another one from me-
I used neon glow, colored pencil, plastic wrap, and crosshatch filters plus sharpening and diffuse at the end. |

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations- Carousel I don't know Steve, is there a difference? I was going to call it Merry Go Round, but figured Carousel was shorter I like the selective coloring on yours, with everything else grayed out. Nice.
I meant to post this one with my last one. They are basically the same. But while trying to add some texture to the last one, I used Anita's Gold on a layer set to hue. Thought it made an interesting sepia effect. I think I downloaded it from Innographx if anyone is interested. |

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations- Carousel Another try.. tried to simulate a water color..
Cropped these Carousel, Merry-Go-Round, or Flying Horses (if they were going in the other direction, like across the big pond, then English Gallopers or a Roundabout might be appropriate) |
