Creative Interpretations - Harlequin Great Dane

I got this shot on a walk around at a local animal rescue farm. This guy captured my heart. He had so much personality.

But I like it. The barn this lovable guy was in was full of cobwebs, rust, dust, hay and manure. That barn had to be 80 years old so there's plenty of room for textures.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Harlequin Great Dan

Couldn't quite decide how to crop, ended up with a couple of versions.
So I did 2 different renderings.

1) AHB
2) Smudge

Both with heavy wet-paint post-processing.

Thanks, swampy

Re: Creative Interpretations - Harlequin Great Dan

aaawwww, da pup-pie!

i love great danes! i had some friends i used to go see almost as much for their dane as for them, but you have to be careful around danes; they are very dangerous, for if they dont lick you to death, they'll run you to death playing with you
