Re: Creative Interpretations - Lion on the rocks

Well I said I might revisit this.

Palms your getting something there, I like it, just maybe you need to look at your masking a little, I know its WIP but its easy to forget these things - I do.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Lion on the rocks

some amazing renditions here! and dee dee, you do find and make the best photos. i love this guy

i've been playing so much with filter forge that i've neglected some of my other filters and techniques. so, i prepped this with Paint Shop Pro's native illumination tool, then applied some other things like usm, contrast/brightness, a little darkness/lightness brushing and some other things i forget. then, i got out paint engine and ran three different passes and some blend modes. i followed that by another, closer crop. there may have been a couple other steps in there, as well, especially on the eyes to make sure they showed up ok.

I've just realised I'm being called Steve again, Now this is becoming a habit and it must cease henceforth, besides he's better at brush strokes than me and I'm jealous.
