Yes I try to get out and about when I can!

You seem to get so much depth to your pics, I really like it. Do you use the craquelure filter or do you have other tricks up your sleeve?

Thanks Kim, a fair amount is Redfields++ plugin (overlay/hard light blend modes) tweaked with masks and fades etc.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Church Yard

Nice image, Kim.
I did some faux tone mapping in Lightroom, then went to Painter for, um, painting and into CS2 for a spot of texture.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Church Yard

I wanted to try my hand at casting some light so I made a night scene.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Church Yard

Well, it is kind of spooky, but my thought was a welcoming light for a wayfarer who may wander down the path. And the lights are on in the preacher's home...LOL

Now if that was around here, the lights would be on, but the doors would be locked.

Come on Swampy you've started a story, now finish it. How does it end????

Re: Creative Interpretations - Church Yard

LOL, Peter... no real back story. Just an opportunity to try some casting light. Been my experience though that country churches usually do have a cemetery on the grounds and I wouldn't want to be walking around there at night. I'm skeered... :-)

Thanks Kimlou. I'd say you are doing great.

After hanging around the forums for a while, some techniques finally seeped through this hard head. Except for Painter Elements 4. I still don't understand that software.
