Newbie Third attempt at smudge painting have i cracked it

I've been reading the threads posted here and looking at some work by Brad Buttry and Helen Yancy and had a try at emulating there style.
I don't know how they do there's as i don't own there cd's but after examining there images and following some tutorials I've managed to work it out on my own.
I probably will order there cd's at some point as there probably full of new idea's but until then i will keep practicing on my own.
What do you think of this attempt any CC appreciated?

I cannot believe (but I do) this is only your third attempt, Amie.

In a word: Wonderful.

Consider the nut cracked... with a vengence.

Note: Brad uses only PS; Helen uses Painter and PS if that matters.

I'd suggest giving thought to crafting your own training DVD. Really.

Considering your meteoric climb up the learning curve, I would encourage you to add your own insights and experiences to this thread:

Many, including me, would benefit from your words of wisdom.

But along the way you surely had a few "ah-ha" moments as in, "Wow, that looks good, I'll do [that] again" or "It looks better when I do [this instead of that] or "BIG mistake when I do [fill in the blank]." Just some helpful hints...
