Re: Old Man Revisited

Pavel: I like the mood you set with your rendition. And I like how the red streaks accent the rest of the piece. Good work.

Dkcoats: I like how the slightly stippled abstracted work still shows the pensive expression and the work worn clothing well. You kept the mood of the piece very well.

Frank: Thank you for the workflow and the introduction to ReDynaMix. That, I'm afraid to admit, I have never heard of. It does quite well.

LonK: Way too funny in a Van Gogh sort of way. It's a keeper for sure.

Kimlou: Your impressionist treatment of the hay gathering went well. Thumbs up.

Britsdad: Great smudge. I really like the treatment you gave. And you even managed to keep some of the stubble on the chin.

Thanks all for participating. This is lots of fun and learning for us all.

Janet

Re: Old Man Revisited

Don't know how I missed this thread before but those are nice images Janet to work with. This one was painted using the impressionist plugin.

Re: Old Man Revisited

Palms, you even removed the fence. GREAT job.

Alcar, your rendition is wonderful. I really like the style and mood you created. Once again, I wish I could get Impressionist to perform as well for me.

Craig. I like the interpretation. It looks rough and sandy textured. It fits the face.

Janet
