Re: Old Woman

Craig - you have a good eye--the crop really works.
Janet, that's some nice smudging. You made it look painterly without obliterating the detail. Nifty.
Alex - I wouldn't have guessed AHB. I really like what you did with it.

Re: Old Woman

Janet - A very nice image of age. Just a matter of taking our turn, is it not?

Very creative renditions posted.

Re: Old Woman

First, let me say that I'm glad this thread has inspired so many entries. I love people with lots of character in faces. It makes me think about who they are, what they have been through, and about their value as a person. This lady's face is so very intriguing;& I hoped you would find her value in the art you have posted. Kudos to all who have undertaken this portrait. Superb work all.

Alexmeta: Very interesting with the play of color and light. I stared at this for a long time and enjoyed all the nuances.

Craig: I don't know what to say about this one except good job. It is very different and makes me think of ancient ruins, metallic busts, and finding treasure.

Lqqker: WOW, superb work (as always). I don't know how you achieved this particular effect; but it is stunning in its detail and impact.

Alcar: What you are doing with Impressionist is amazing. I can't ever get it to perform that well. I love the colors, the lights and darks, the mood.

Thank you all for your work.

Janet
