First time go at Corel painter

Hi Guys!
I've never tried anything like this before... So please be Gentle LOL
I got painter today and tried this...

I love the dog and the treatment you have him/her. Even the dog's expression says to me, "Hey, I'm just slightly frazzled today. And don't mention the hair. It's just a bad hair day."

Hi Cazzie... Welcome aboard. Great job for first time with Painter.

For portrait-type pics (animal, people) you might consider replacing the background with a neutral pattern or isolate the subject somehow. Doing so results in less distraction.

Yep he can be seen better now and as i said earlier you are off to a flying start with painter, and love the look on the dogs face, which breed is he ?

She was my grey Newfoundland puppy ... unfortunatly I lost her at 7mths old last year ...so i would love to be able to do a good painting as a tribute to her!!
