Just so long as you don't say "Spring is blooming out all over", in which case I'm reaching for my baseball bat.

Craig... Great shot. Love the darks and light contrasts.

Masked yellows then Cutout filter a couple times on the reverse of the mask. PST and AHB.

Re: Spring Explosion

lol, gary... i'd never do that to ya

jordan, i like that. looks like something from one of my filter forge filters

dee dee, what do you call that texture you used there? it reminds me of a type of thick, absorbent paper used in water colors. and i like the overall effect and edgeing. very nice.

nice one, palms and i really like that 2nd one; very clever

peter, i've watched your talent grow and your style develop. this one is spot on. very well done!

nice, yelhsaneerg

Me too. Fun to do...

Played a few actions picked at random from my Actions Palette and let Photoshop do its thing while I watched tele for awhile. Nice to go into "auto pilot" mode and not have to think much.

Come to think of it I don't think much anyway!

Re: Spring Explosion

Thank you, Craig. I believe the texture was Charcoal on Paper and it is one of the default Photoshop textures. I can't remember, but it might come standard as a vertical, but I long ago saved out a horizontal version for use with landscape orientations.
