And the light show was nothing short of amazing. I hope it didn't hit you guys too hard in the "somewhere over there" area in which you live.
BTW, nice pic for painting.

| | | Can I add another country road to this thread? This one is about a mile north of Lake Superior, and 3 miles from Two Harbors in Minnesota. |

Steve- may I ask what you did to simplify the background? it seems like something other than the cutout filter...
Mine is a montage of filters including diffuse, colored pencil, and find edges. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikajom...86969/sizes/o/ |

A big thank you!

| | | Re: farm road 08 Wanted to give Holmes' pic a little play, reminded me of the long, country roads Dad had to drive to take us vacationing at Granma's farm up North in the old days. |

| | | Re: farm road 08 janet, 'somewhere over there' is western kentucky and yes, we got hit but not nearly as hard as some south and west of us. we got four inches of rain in a short period of time. the creeks are all flooded out of their banks again, but thankfully, no tonados like some got. and i see you appreciate a good, old, southern farm road, too nice pic.
and gunner, also a nice pic. i didnt mean this to be 'old farm road, post your own' thread, but folks, do feel free. perhaps we can do a collage/montage/composite if we get enough of them ... or start a scrapbooking club... i'm not sure
and steve, i'm not quite sure why that cab is there, but it certainly changes the image. i like it
and i see jordan, you've started the rain for us. oh well, it was coming anyway. nice
nice lyle. that's quite a play of blue on green there.
adarkartist, interesting. seems the storm must be getting quite a bit closer with all that dark and ominous red clouds. cool
and palms, i love yours! very water colory
susie, also very nice. i like that you can almost step into the picture, if that makes any sense |

| | Re: farm road 08 Here's a couple of my attempts. Guess I was in a military mood tonight. It's a flight of three B2 Stealth Bombers, of course they would never fly that close together but........ |
