You've had Garlic so I thought why not this.

| | | Re: Poppy case First one from me just darkened smoothed and applied Luce A freebie (again) plug-in (can be found here http://amicoperry.altervista.org/luce/main.html )
not sure exactly what goes with this plug-in but some of the effects are very good, don't be put of by the small preview pic it shows, as its very low res.

Vitali
Definitely not Opium, God I'd have the police round, don't want that.
It would have looked a little better with water as your pics show (sorry miss the joke)??
I did try to do an HDR with this and kept messing it up.
Your Poppies a little ahead of mine but give it a week and we'll catch up, these are usually about 10-12 cm dia. and frilly edged - lovely the are. Never say sorry for posting pics in my threads, anyone want to do them, go ahead no probs.
A monkey back I see a Parrots beak facing out. (Palms won't see that of course). OB
Lots of detail there, nice masking, that must have taken some time to do.
My typing finger need a rest now.
Peter

| | | Re: Poppy case Rohape now come on admit it your showing off. Your Poppies are full out and ours aren't, and you've got a beautiful show off daughter as well- 2 things to boast about. (I don't blame you for bragging about the little lady).
Thanks for posting.

| | | Re: Poppy case Well thank you for the compliments! I think it may have just been beginners luck on the bloom. It's our first poppy. It's in our butterfly garden we just planted a little over a month ago. |

| | | Re: Poppy case Almost from the minute I saw this post, I knew what I wanted to do. After extracting the poppy head from the original picture, I combined it with a poppy I had painted a couple of years ago.
Thanks for the great picture to play with.

Palms | I have to admit they are not really colour tweaked for the red, just maybe I increased the Sat a little but thats all. It might be the way your camera handles reds, I think purple is difficult for digi cams so maybe reds also.
As for Steve he has gone into Flower rehab I think, after all this has been a little of an overdose lately, either that or he has asthma
