Creative interpretation - Cathedral

It is Saint Petersburg, St Isaac's Cathedral.
December, weather is bad.
But it is possible to make of it something.

I love the parchment effect. Looks like something Leonardo may have drawn.

Loved the pic too so had to have go, hope you don't mind.

Still trying for watercolor effect. Made a very large brush from other brushes.

Don't remember all the steps, but I do remember that I used Retinex to open the shadow details.
