Creative interpretations: Grandma Cole's flowers

We were visiting my wife's grandmother this weekend. At 94 years old she still loves to work in the garden. She's a wonderful lady and an inspiration to all of us.

This is some of her handiwork.

Re: Creative interpretations: Grandma Cole's flowe

I just hope that I still can walk when I get even close to that age. Thanks for sharing Danny. Also, thanks for the cool flower pick to play with.

Here's the hirez version. Attached is just a thumbnail.

A delightful play, Danny

ArtStudio to simplify. PST using the ArtStudio result as a pattern as well as the original to paint back a little detail.

Beautiful Pansies!! I'm SO envious of anyone with a green thumb. Give your wife's grandmother a hug from me and tell her thanks for the beauty she shares with the world.

Now Peter, I see that you are still playing with Luce, successful I must add. How did you achieve this embossed look, if I may ask?

Kraellin, thank you for your kind words. This is a texture layer (actually photographed from a real canvas) It came along with the CS3 wow book.

I thought Grandma might like some cheery fabric for kitchen curtains.
