Creative Interpretations - Water Lily

Claude Monet painted many paintings of water lilies. He got the idea because he had a water garden and enjoyed the plants' beauty and difference.
Where are you Monets?

Definitely a keeper Al. Yeah; I stopped trying to do a Monet long ago (made some recent strides with Van Gogh though).

Newbie Re: Creative Interpretations - Water Lily

I first used Painter and then imported it into CS2 and used the paintdaubs to get this one.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Water Lily

Can still do an oil though. lol

I actually was going to try a smudge stick, but it was (to put it mildly) a disaster, so I blended that result into this oil.
