Re: Maybe LucisArt?

LucisArt? Don't know -- don't have it. I did a perspective modification for a "different" composition, Impressionist crayon + Snap Art Stylize.

Thumbs up Re: Maybe LucisArt?

Agreed, that is a great interpretation.

I did a fun image the other day (Fremont Street in Vegas) treated with LucisArt followed by Alien Skin SnapArt, which is a great plug-in. Of course it's on another computer so I can't show you right now!

Re: Maybe LucisArt?

Sorry to bring in another photo, but this is one from the series I described earlier (original from Caesar's Palace, LucisArt, LucisArt+SnapArt>Stylize). Next I'll work with the one posted above.

Re: Maybe LucisArt?

Joe, that's cool--what was your workflow?

Here's the original image with LucisArt, then SnapArt>Comics, then buzzX, then nik ColorEfex Pro 3 and finally onOne PhotoFrame; and a larger view of the final step. Just a quick play around at 1:45am!

BTW, that extreme perspective of the building made the edges of the image window in Photoshop look distorted too! I'd never seen that before. Then again, it's late...

Re: Maybe LucisArt?

Hey plugsnpixels I used an action that I made. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. With this pic it didn't work very well. Works great with high resolution photo's though. It gives me a starting point anyways.

Action
Dup background layer
Colour correct
Lucis-Sculpture
Button 1-Amount 1%-Mix 20%

Dup that layer
Lucis-Exposure
Button 1-Amont 1%-Mix 60%
Merge down (Ctrl+E)

Dup that layer
Median 2 pix
Gaussian 1 pix
Hue&Sat-boost sat 40%
Layer set to Color-opp 50%

Merge down
Imagenomic Portraiture-default

Sometimes I copy that layer and use Median set to 12 pix’s and set the blend mode to Soft Light and adjust opp.

It's hard to find tutorials on LucisArt. So I just play around with it.
