Creative Interpretations - Merry Go Round

I'm in a colorful mood today. So here's lots of color to brighten your palette.

Crayon interpretation. Also added a signature (don't know why I haven't thought to do this before; did this especially for you Dee Dee. lol).

Here's the full rez (attached just a thumbnail).

I like your crayon like emboss effect too Craig. To Palms; even on a bad day you did pretty good.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Merry Go Round

Thanks, Craig and Lyle.

Speaking of crayons. I remember that back in 3rd or 4th grade we did an art project that was so much fun. It involved just scribbling all over paper with different colors of crayons, then covering all the color with a solid black "layer". Then we used a blunt instrument or our finger nail to scrape away the black to "paint" the design.

I've used the digital equivalent on this piece...

From the bottom of the stack up...

Merry Go Round Pic
A layer of background color.
A layer of black

I created a line art sketch of the Merry Go round Pic, use Blend if to leave remove the white background of the sketch. Merged the remaining sketch down into a blank layer so I could load the sketch as a selection then use the selection to maks the black layer.
