Palms, yes. I burried some seeds last year and that's what came out, only lasted for one summer, though, not sure if it was supposed to be that way or if it was my "black thumb". Nice technique above, this is not ABH, is it? Looks too fragile to be...

No not ahb a mixture of cutout and dry brush I think

I think it would be the same for you as us here in the uk Dahlia's dont go through the winter you have to lift and store the tubers (sometimes you get away with it if the winter isnt to harsh ) or replant seed
