Newbie ANTEBELLUM, U.T., San Antonio, Tx

Here is a shot I did quite a few years ago./ It is a house that was donated to the University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. The governors office held some kind of meeting there. it was very plush inside. Reminds me of the movies.

Have fun!

There are quite a few of this kind of house with the tree canopy in the Texas/Louisana area. The ones I saw were near Baton Rouge, LA.

Here is one that I tried today the 4th of July. So there John Adams!

I used an action I picked up somewhere. I wish I could remember who did it so that I could give them credit here. It is called "DigiDoodle"

And yet another attempt at this one. The majority of the work was done in Painter and a little color balancing and texture in CS2.

Re: ANTEBELLUM, U.T., San Antonio, Tx

1st one is a couple of runs of cspringers contrast mask action and some extra saturation ( sorry but i do like what most people call over saturation)

the second was using buzz, a sketch and a impressionist layer

Nice work-again, I love the way you smudge Palms. Where can I find the "springers contrast mask action"?

The action can be found at

http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm#Local_Contrast

listed as contrast mask v2 about the 11th one down,
but beware if you haven't been there before loads there to download

Re: ANTEBELLUM, U.T., San Antonio, Tx

I cropped the photo to focus on the architecture of the house. The final effect I was going for was to emulate hand-colored vintage postcards.

Playing around with Buzz, LucisArt and LAB colour. Cropped and flipped for good measure.

Hey....Joe, looks like one of those stills for a semi-digital movie. Made up of digital images only.
