Re: Creative Interpretations - Morning Walk

Peter nice image not sure if i agree with you or not on the detail still thinking on that one

Steve nice i like the simplicity of this one (which makes it hard deciding whether i agree with Peter on his "maybe to much detail")

Craig i prefer the first one dark and mysterious i quite like the third but it does get your eyes a bit, maybe i need another caffeine boost

Joe love the change of colour at the bottom of the street

and just in case Swampy is busy today Alcar pst = pattern stamp tool, Swampy has a tutorial on her site

Re: Creative Interpretations - Morning Walk

I just wanted to pop in and say how much I love what everyone is doing with this one!!

Peter- I think in parts of yours, you really nailed it. And in other parts you have a little too much detail. Like the texture on the road in front or the walls on the front left. But in other places, I think you have it just right.

I hope I get a chance to paint this today. Things have been CRAZY this past week.

I just found out that I won a weekly "Editor's Choice" award over at NAPP for my watercolor of this photo! :-)

Swampy, a richly deserved honor. It was a superb watercolor.
