I'm trying to do what you indicated. But this is forcing me to explore that which I have avoided for a long time, for some reason. It'll be awhile, even with the help of your excellent tutorial, before I have anything to upload. Have already tried several times, yet still don't have anything that I would upload anywhere, well, except for the trash bin maybe!

I've read that a MacBook Pro is much better than the MacBook Air. don't know the reason. It's certainly not the price tho since they are both expensive but complete.

If it was me I'd look at Apples website and go to the left hand column all the way down on the left and look at the "Special Deals

Craig.... Go MacBook Pro. The "Air" is really designed for taking out on the road to make presentations, surf and do email. Yeah, it's sleek, but limited. It assumes you have access to another computer in order to install and update software and OS 'cause it doesn't even have a CD/DVD player in it.

For general use, the 15" is good. Go for the 17" if you are going to try to do graphics on it because of the bigger screen.
