Creative Interpretations - Morning Walk

I loved this photo when I first saw it. Photo Credit to DKImages.

Color Correction with OnOne's Photo Tune plugin. An Artistic/Dry Brush filter. Saved as a pattern. Picked a light peach color from the wall for the canvas layer. Painted above that with the PST using "Swampy's Watecolor brush" at various opacities.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Morning Walk

Doreen, thank you!

First of all, this photo just cries for water color. For the most part it was my PST 101 Tutorial, but without any line art and using a peachy color for the "canvas" instead of white. Brush selection can make a huge difference in the PST result so I stuck to a water color brush that I created (and you can download on my Tute site). I did a lot of opacity adjustments while painting as well as brush size. I started at 10% with a great big size brush to lay the basic outlines (highlights and shadows) then on new layers, decreased the brush and raised the brush opacity for more and more detail. A touch of texture and frame and signature to finish it all off.

Another great find, Swampy, and I like your watercolor a lot.

I took another swipe with the PST.
