I agree. Have any cool star filters (hate painting them; this plugin just puts them everywhere; lol)? I need to add to my filter arsenal anyway.

You could use a mask filled with black to paint them here and there too...
I wonder how many more filters your computer can handle!

Lyle, you gave me the incentive to try a night time scene or maybe I am just a copycat! Amica, you gave us the perfect image to try it on... thanks to Both of you!

Lyle, for the stars I put the sparkles on their own layer.. after painting them on... set layer to dissolve then lower opacity and fill way down for a few bright stars..

Fantastic OB; but that still requires painting the dots and I'm lazy. lol

OK Lyle .. just for you.. Loose selection where you want stars... new layer... fill with white... change mode to Dissolve... lower opacity 5%.. lower fill 5-10% depending on how many stars you want.. DUN!!
