Re: Reach for the Sky

Thanks moonchild64. I really like this picture as well; but then I like trees, especially aspens in the mountains. I'm glad you enjoyed working on it.

I totally agree! I absolutely love topaz adjust and am going to hate when the 30 days is up. It is addictive ... nearly every picture I have done recently has had topaz adjust used in some measure.

Cool one Palms.

Now my next question is, "What is topaz?" I've been out of the loop for a while (head in the sand you know ).

Re: Reach for the Sky

Topaz Adjust is an awesome plug-in for Photoshop. You can adjust so many things yourself (hue, detail, saturation, noise, etc) with the use of sliders and there are also many different presets. Personally, I don't care for the presets though.

All the colors that came out in the bg of the hummingbird pix I tried ... they all came out themselves using TA ... I didn't apply any color myself.

It is usually $99 but they have extended the promo to get it for only $39 Tomorrow is the last day for the intro price though.

*use coupon code adjustintro
for introductory price
extended until September 1, 2008

Maybe you can answer my question ... what is AHB? I have seen several references to it on recent pix.

Re: Reach for the Sky

AHB is short for Art History Brush (the brush with a mind of its own).

Thanks for the topaz info.
