Was going to do an illustration, but the manipulation wanted to be an oil, so that's what I did. Here's the complete rendering; attached is a crop.

Haha ... some of this ... some of that ... some of everything. I used this pic to try out different thngs in PS to see what all they do. It turned out weird but ... anyways ...

Sorry for the late reply Christine. I really was going to do a watercolor illustration, but I changed my mind and decided to do the fake smudge technique (sharpen/GREYCstoration) with the additional of ImpressionFX's Paper preset (gives the glossy sheen) for the oil rendering. So this one's a GIMP/Irfanview collaboration.

Woops; forgot to add that I also used GIMP's Bumpmap filter.
