Re: Creative Interpretations - Hansom Cab

They are all exceptionally good and appealing, but how about a few hints on the realisation, especially for newbies like me, in particular the second try of Steve Conway.

I like the first ruination Amica.

Heres mine using the "Palms" AHB method.

Swampy, I did, indeed, enjoy the play. Thanks!

Enticing image, Swampy. Great interpretations by all.

Adjusted the perspective some, then a Vivacity effect.

So many great interpretations! It amazes me how everyone can come up with something so different.

Lonk, I don't know what Vivacity effect that is ... but .... WOW!

Thanks, moonchild64.

The new Topaz Vivacity suite of plug-ins was part of the prize I won in last month's RetouchPRO contest. Topaz Adjust was the other part. (Thanks again to all the other entrants. It was a fun contest and the prize is great.)

While the Sharpen and Clean modules of Vivacity are not specifically made for these types of effects, one can push the adjustments and come up with some very interesting results. Topaz does offer trial versions which you may like to play with.

I don't usually do this kind of work, but I like the Hansom Cab. I was trying for a ink sketch and watercolour wash look.

Me, an art-crack? LOL

Steve, I agree with you, Toulouse-Lautrec was extremely talented, too bad he died so young...
Have you ever visited his museum, in France?
