And that's nothing like a bit of cheek, you must try harder next time.

Lucis ,Redfields++ and a concrete texture. Plus at one point I tried duping, blend mode to overlay, Gausian blur (about 15 pixels) then inverted and faded opacity down slightly (maybe desaturated as well??), try that one, it doesn't always come out as you want on all pics but it's an interesting effect.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Oasis

I'm loving this AHB, combined with some filters and layer blending it's an amazing tool.

Here's my attempt at the oasis.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Oasis

this was the first picture I saw here. I've finally worked up the nerve (hubris? audacity?) to do an interpretation of it.

Nice work Nasturtium. I like the abstracted simplicity.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Oasis

I tried for a charcoal & watercolor effect using AHB. This was also my first attempt at "artifying" with my new Bamboo. I'm not too sure of the overall gray effect gotten with a texture, but, oh well.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Oasis

Good to see this one come back. Experimenting with adaptive edge detection masks with a base undercoat created using Impressionist. I did do some additional things too.
