Ruin - harsh words' I like them, is the 2nd one a gradiant map thing?

Regarding your question, no gradient map, a simple b/w conversion and a little tint on that...

Here you go Palms; Impressionist's Default settings but substituted Fluffbutt's brush. Some GREYC and cloning work too with added texture blend and color/sat enhancements.

being that halloween is just around the corner, i thought i'd take the owl and put him in a more natural, nocturnal setting.

Amica they are very nice, when i get time i will have to quiz you on your settings for vivacity

Peter nice gives a 3d look
