If I find a "how to" for tablet beginners that shows how it to use it for various effects etc., I might consider trying again. Right now I am so used to the mouse that I am reluctant to change.

I certainly will admit that it works great for you folks.

Re: Autumn Barn

Peter, I'm so glad you got your eyes fixed. My gain. Your painting is wonderful.
Craig, I have PSP but I sure can't do with it what you can.
Joe, I really like the colors in yours, like a summer storm is brewing.
Alan, I like your edges. Ae you using a mask to do them?
Shari

Newbie Re: Autumn Barn

Having been born and raised in Minnesota I needed to see water near this great looking barn. Painter X and some photoshop work for the water. Not satisfied with it but can't do anymore.

Re: Autumn Barn

Gunner-Actually there is a little water, a tiny creek just on this side of the bushes in the foreground. I like yours better. Get out the boat and the fishing poles. Sure beats my little lily pond.
Baldy-I love your sky. The sky does look like that sometimes, but when I try to capture it in a photo it just doesn't work. We do live in a lovely area. Especially in the summer and fall. Not all the barns are so picturesque. Here's the barn on the other side of me.
