Autumn Barn

No one seems to have posted an autumn landscape yet this year so I thought I would.
This lovely old barn is on the hill above my house, but the leaves weren't as pretty this year as usual so it could use a little artification.
Forgive the blown out sky. I took six pictures and they all turned out with a white sky, but I decided to post the picture anyway. (Continually proving that I'm no photographer.)
My attempt is just messing with layers and a colored sketch technique.
Shari

Re: Autumn Barn

Barns just make for good subjects..........especially when the fall colors come out.

Re: Autumn Barn

Just trying some GEGL functions (snn mean) and this (after a lot of massaging) came through. Added texture too of course.

Shari, I have a video tutorial for fixing those blown out skies. It's quick and easy. Follow the "Tutorials" link in my signature.
