Creative Interpretations - Swampy's Swamp

Found this on Wikimedia. Looks like some of the creeks and bogs around my home.

Enjoy!

Quite a picture! It must be full of mosquitoes in there!
I went for a kind of lomo-HDR look.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Swampy's Swamp

Reminds me of when I was living in Lake Charles, La and we use to go out into the Bayous to fish. Also reminds me of deep east Texas close to the N.W. corner of Louisiana. I agree with Craig, nothing like Florida tho.

GEGL C2G interpretation>

Hope you don't mind a Fine Art interpretation this time Dee Dee. Playing with a cool GEGL (GEGL is only partially implemented in GIMP currently, but eventually it will allow GIMP to support 16-bit color) filter for this conversion. Did do some preprocessing with Retinex prior to the C2G filter step.
