Niagara Falls

While visiting my daughter in Pa., we took the time to go to NY to see Niagara Falls. I've been all over the world and this was my first time there.

Wow Hawkeye; this is a fantastic capture. Thought I would make an oil out of it.

Re: Niagara Falls

Nice pic Hawkeye. I had to crop it because that red bush was distracting.

Re: Niagara Falls

Hats off to Hawkeye for the great image and to Joe for resurrecting the thread and for your fine rendition of it. What did you use?

Mine's a CS2/Postworkshop thing.

Re: Niagara Falls

I just used Vitaly's watercolor brushes with the opacity on the top set to 60% which gives the stokes a harder look. The compression just killed all the details. I think it was down to 16% or something like that after I saved it for 100k. How are you liking that Postworkshop? Is it worth the money?

I've just begun to plumb the depths of PWS but so far, yeah, I'd say it's well worth the dough.

I was going to try it out but the system requirements say you need 2 gigs of ram and I only have one. I'm not much for waiting an hour for something to render. It looks like it could be interesting though.
