Re: Heard you calling for it :)

welcome back, tint. always good to have old members return

i did an enhancing of the image first and then went impressionist. it still somewhat amazes me all that there is in the impressionist filter.

Sorry, a bit of a cheek. I was in Retouch Pro a very long time ago. I'm back and was browsing. I do love what you did with those photos
Hello Tint and welcome back

On both of those i used a sketch layer then on the first a ahb layer underneath the sketch with blendmode set to overlay , followed by a couple of textures on top at different opacitys and blenmodes , on the second one i used the history brush at about 20% over the sketch layer and tweeked the colours a bit

hope that helps

Re: Heard you calling for it :)

Dan, very, very nice
Peter, like both, your fun filter a little better, which is strange, because I really like your sketches.
Lyle, that looks cool, turned glass into gum
Craig, nice one, btw it amazes me too, always new looks to be found in expressionist.
OlBaldy, you had me going back to the original, because I didn't recall a flame being there, very nice.
Palms, nice idea
