Smile Profile of a woman in Magenta Hat

Had a go a few days ago at reworking an old photo, but wasn't that enthralled so had another go today with a totally new idea and i came up with this one, the rose bud is another of my photos, transformed and reduced in size...
regards,
Gary

Re: Profile of a woman in Magenta Hat

What, no comments on this image and no one playing artfully with it either?

I'll jump in. I like what you have done. And I can think of a few artful things to do with it. But, sigh, too little time and too much to do. I do hope someone else will step in an do something artful soon.

Good luck,
Janet

Gary

I like what you have done although i think something isnt quite there, but not sure what it is ( i know very helpful )

but i have had a go at trying something artful ! ! You cant post a photo in this part (maybe accidental) and get away with no one trying something

Re: Profile of a woman in Magenta Hat

I don't have an artistic eye like Palms and so many others, but, playing here always relaxes me and that's just what I needed this morning. Mine is kind of a colored sketch. Thanks for the play.

Hi Palms,
yes very helpful Palms, now i'll never know what's wrong with it either lol..
"not quite there" laughs..bit like my head at times!
i think the second one (duo) needs the rose lowering a bit or may be a microphone substituted..
I like what you have done especially the background, what simplifier did u use?
Wish i could come up with something like you have done, so far this year i've shyed away from the art side...
Nice sketch Susie and i'm glad you were able to relax for a while, unlike me i've just come inside from chasing a rescue dog around the garden for an hour trying to get one decent shot
I'll post something a bit better to play with either tonight or in the morning...
Gary

Gary
how's the head
i had tried a few things myself to see if i could put my finger on what i meant but got now where hence why a bit vague, since then i have tried lowering the rose and putting it at a angle and in my opinion i think that works

on mine i simplified using buzz and the background is one i have posted in my blog, and dont be shy on the art side it is fun and relaxing

and it would be great if you posted something else for us to have a play with, and if i could be cheeky one of your delightful rescue dog would be nice as well

Re: Profile of a woman in Magenta Hat

This is my try at it. The background is a four way split of the original, then four duplicates with mod art effects.
