GIMP fake Lucis followed by vector simplication blend.

Fake GIMP Lucis:

dup for total of 4 layers, Desat the Second layer and set to Grain Extract, run ACE on the Third layer and set the Top layer to Lighten. Play with layer Opacities til happy.

Thank you Sponge. I use a brush called Oil Heavy Flow small tip, style Tight Medium.

Hello everybody,
Lovely capture and beautiful work everybody!
Here is my version. I did few versions of impressionist filter and blend them together ( lower the opacity and a little masking here and there), added a color filter, textures.

It's a really, really, really great photo of a tired old bike. How's that?

This was a quick interpretation,using Flaming Pear's India Ink with a color blend mode atop. I like red.

Steve, I like the second one a tad better because it appears to be less fragmented...on the other hand I like the lighting better in the first.

Anyway...they both really look great.

Still playing with this plugin....I think I like it, but am not sure yet. So you folks are getting the benefit, (or the result), of my experimentation.

Hi everyone, haven't posted since a while.

Some great stuff. Here is mine. Essentially made in Corel Painter 8 which I have recently acquired plus a bit of manip in photoshop.

Jpeg compression is uglyfying it a lot so here is the real one in png :
