Re: Tram

Great pic Macca. From the name on the tram, was this in New Zealand?

Here's a watercolor try.

Interesting old street car.
I used Photoshop, Topaz Adjust 3, and then Akvis sketch to arrive at my colored illustration type.

Re: Tram

Like the copper plate one Gerry. Anyway, just experimenting again. Used Linetracer (after a lot of pre-processing) to get the line-art and then widened the lines.

Re: Tram

Skip...wow. I've not seen a photo aged as well as this one. Now, what a hoot to "reverse the aging process"!

Such a charming little picture, couldn't help trying one myself. PS filter DarkStrokes 7-1-1 on a Soft light blend layer
over
original pic on Normal blend layer, Saturation boost and new sky added
texturized with sandstone.

Re: Tram

Thanks Veronica, sometimes it's fun to take a new picture of something old and try and age it to look like it has been sitting in a drawer on on a desk for a long (or very long) time.

Re: Tram

OK, I'll admit I may have gone a bit "around the bend" on this one, but years ago when I lived in England I saw people doing Brass Rubbings on plaques in old churches and historic sites and thought I would try to simulate the effect in Photoshop.

This is what I came up with.

Re: Tram

Hi, I'm new to the group. I've been lurking for quite a while and decided to take the plunge today. I used Topaz Simplify, Akvis Sketch, and the Impressionist filter on my version of the tram.

Fran

PS I hope I sized this correctly.
