Some Birds to Play With.

Here are two bird images you might like to play with.
The first one is a tri-colored heron. The second is a little blue heron. These birds are often confuse as being the same bird.

Thanks Steve. I found a way to anti-distort when doing the Amazing Circle stuff. I used Filter Factory filter with Inside-Out preset before running the Script-fu that creates Amazing Circles (could do the same for the PS Action). I then rotate to get the bird back upright. Added a bit of the distortion from the Inside-Out step for a reflection simulation.

Very nice rendering. I especially like the saturation.
Thank you very much. I never entered a contest before. I really didn't think I'd win. Though it's not a great accomplishment after all it was only for the month of June, but I did feel honored. Now if I could only come in first place for the year I'd be really happy.

I know it's a heron, but it remined me of an Emu so I did an Emo of the heron. Here's the hirez.

I love this abstract. The texture and color. Personally I like a little more bird, but that's me.thought you might like to know that this little blue heron marks the 550,000 images that I've taken. You would not believe the storage problems I'm having.

You've taken a nice direction. The white one reminds me of those delicate little paper cutouts that they mount on paper. I don't know what they're really called but I like them. Both have a nice texture. It would be interesting to see this technique in the sepia tone.

Wow Steve. If they were in RAW, you would eat a Terabyte's breakfast for sure. Man. Just wish I would enjoy that side of the art too, but I really only like to play (digital darkroom stuff) but I do have a Leica and shoot in RAW when I do. For the most part, only some benifit, but it's worth it to me.

Using triangular mosaic, Grain Extract and GREYCStoration to fake Fractilus (well, added some sparkle too). Not 100% there but getting closer.

Steve, The emu-heron rocks. It reminds me of the cave drawings I see in Montana, right beside the dinosaurs.
