Re: Impressionist action (no plugin needed)

Like the action very much, but unable to use it. Don't use Photoshop.

The image is so nice, that I had to try something with it, so here is another interpretation.

Really enjoying the images on your website from Southern France. They bring back a lot of fond memories.

Re: Impressionist action (no plugin needed)

Thank you Steve for visiting my website

The image you produced is very fine !
For chillin, the action can't actually compete with software or plugins like gertrudis pro or impressionist plugin, but it give a different look and is completely free...

Cheers

Re: Impressionist action (no plugin needed)

welcome to RP, mohammed.

i also dont use photoshop, but thank you anyways. always nice to have members contributing software. and, it does look good.

you might want to test it out on other pictures. i've made filters and scripts that look great on one image but then not so much on others

Re: Impressionist action (no plugin needed)

Thank you Kraellin for this warm welcome

I've tried it with many nature landscapes, seems to work well on most images, however nothing replace human viewer eyes so you certainly have to play with the different layers at the end and try different settings

My job has nothing to do with imaging, I wish sometimes I had more time to spend in my hobbies

Kind regards
