Re: Birds of prey

Still on my Fractilus quest. This time, I used Impressionist Geo Chaotic Chrome but changes the background to black and the color of the brushstrokes to Image. I also added some GREYCstoration and Xero Softmood filter blends.

Re: Birds of prey

Thanks Palms. Just don't think I will come up with a decent formula to mimick Fractilus unfortunately. Little tired today; may keep it on the light side because of that.

Re: Birds of prey

nice ones Peter the sketch one works very well
Yes i was out with the camera, but i have found that it is a great way of getting time on my own as the whole family gets embarrassed and walks away ( mind you for most of the photo's i was at ground level )

Enjoying the different versions. My first is a dithered version with a multiply mask of the original overlain. The second is painted with edging.

Re: Birds of prey

The GIMP site that I post things at comes up and down quite often, but you can find more details (and a GIMPressionist preset that aids with creating these) at the link below; thanks again for your comments Palms.

Here's another one that I did at the Inn.
