creative interpretation - corner restaurant

I shot this this morning. I really liked the bright colored flowers. I used BuzzPro mainly. Masked off the dull colors with a luminosity mask after pumping up the colors in LAB.

Re: creative interpretation - corner restaurant

Really love what you did with it.
The second version is not quite as strong.
I really like the lighter, colorful more detailed versions others have done, so tried to emulate that on the third version.

Re: creative interpretation - corner restaurant

MiningArt-They're both really nice but the first one with the more muted colors seems stronger to me.
GerryB-Wow! The lines really set this off! Great frame, btw.
Sylvia1065-Love the Mediterranean colors.
geepee52-Lovely use of textures. I really like what happened with the sign.

Syliva, yours is beautiful, really beautiful.

Glad to see you toned that blown out wall down. Not much you can do about that in-camera because there is such a dynamic range between the right and left side of the image.

Thank you very much, Sweetlight The left wall bothered me too, which is why I covered it with a pattern using the PST tool.

Dan-I like how you warmed up the blown out wall and give it a little bit of texture.

Interesting result, Steve. Now if you would paint that washed-out wall it would be perfect

Thanks much.

About the wall......I am not bothered by it, although I did put in a few light strokes. Seems several folks have mentioned how the wall needs something.

Maybe a Coke sign?

Re: creative interpretation - corner restaurant

I was working on a version where I actually lengthened the stem on the topiaries so thos pretty pink blooms were higher up the wall to fill in some of the blown-out negative space. Race week has bogged me down here so it will have to wait.
