Cat Something to play with from http://www.sxc.hu/photo/1089223. Used Snap Art 2 to try and get an oil painting look. Not sure about the results. Joe

Re: Cat I like it, painted with nice detail left in the eyes. My version was done with PhotoSketch. Last edited by MiningArt; 08-07-2009 at 01:41 PM. Reason: add version

Re: Cat hm, let me try to remember: Shadow Highlight adjustment, sharpened, anisotropic diffusions - faded to 70% , sharpened again, ran through Redfield Fractalius - blend hard light - reduced opacity, finally added a grad map and adjusted opacity to taste. Of course the normal adjustment: removing color cast, curves etc where done previously...Hope this helps Look for Palms Fake Smudge action which contains the anisotropic diffusion if you dont like to do it manually.... it's in her Blog. Not that it is very important, but I took the pic into LAB to recover the blown out highlights first... Last edited by amica999; 08-15-2009 at 11:21 AM. Reason: added text
