Ahhh, just look at the character in that quirky little face. Great pic for playing around with. You all are having way too much fun.

spot on Janet, a great pic, and fantastic renditions from all, all of them worth framing and putting on a wall

Re: Miley

Alex, do you mind sharing how you did your sketch? I'm loving it.

This little pooch should be proud. All of the images are fantastic.

Re: Miley

when i first saw the name of this thread, i thought i was going to have to step in and remind folks of the no celebrity images policy... miley... miley cyrus? boy, what a dog. alright, that was a very bad joke (sorry ms. cyrus ).

as for what i did find here, nice pic and some great renditions!

i had to have a go, also. cute puppy

btw, was anyone else reminded of carl maulden by this thread?

Fran, thank you for you kindly words. I don't remember exactly, but I remember the basic, there was three copies of background, the first was - "line pic - sketch" maked by Fractalius, the second was desaturated and very darkened copy blended with screen mode, and the third was desaturated and very lightened copy blended with line burn mode, with decreasing opacity. The last two layers was masked and finger painted with smudge tool on the masks. Texturizered, colored and sharpened the result.

Trying to repeat it
